The beautiful irony of this train-carved tree tunnel in Ukraine? The train is carrying trees to a factory where they will be ground into fiberboard for Ikea furniture.

Bagan, located in the Mandalay Region of Burma/Myanmar, is home to over 2000 Buddhist temples, monasteries, pagodas and ruins — the largest and densest concentration in the world! Many date as back as early as the 11th and 12th centuries.
Graceful aging has contributed to the romantic nature of these picturesque temples. There are no windbreakers surrounding the area and frequent mini whirlwind twisters have thrown dust from the eroded earth onto the structures resulting in their revealed red and rust-colored brick blocks, which light up when hit by the sun’s rays, as seen in some of our favorite photos of Bagan from the Instagram community.
Fun fact: Bamboo is not a great food source for energy and is hard to digest. Red pandas need to eat 20-30% of their body weight each day—about 2 to 4 pounds of bamboo shoots and leaves.
